Quick HistoryA former street fighting pugilist and gladiator of Ul'dah who eventually worked his way into the ranks of the Sultansworn. Its rumored there was Syndicate money at work but never more than rumors. Then he was sent to Ishgard to learn further from their knights; during this time he became friends with Riovanne DuClare, an Ishgardian paladin. Its not known why or how he left the paladin's way of life, but he's avoided Ul'dah as much as one can ever since. Its best not to ask; he's hardly recognizable since that life now anyways.He spent some time recovering in Kugane with his closest friends. It was during that time he met his now partner Saikhan Arulaq, the older brother of his best friend and battle brother Ghazan Arulaq from the Bloodsands. After some time they would move to Sharlayan together in the interest of Saikhan's continued education and research oppurtunities. Eventually he would open up a small medical clinic and the couple would find themselves settling down there. Szordrin himself looks for a job that doesn't take him away for long stretches like his bodyguard and mercenary work would, takes a job at a cafe.For one who was notorious for being a tomcat in taverns after his days on the Bloodsands, being hired to work in a cute cafe seems worlds apart. At least his bosses let him take as many smoke breaks as he needs; especially for someone who's supposed to be quitting smoking.

OOCSzordrin began as a BG3 character I recreated in FFXIV. His old story has adapted from a drow vengence paladin to a duskwight dark knight. I'm rather new to 14 RP but not RP in general.Saikhan is played by my irl husband and so I am not interested in romance plot lines or the like.Szordrin's rp slant has begun to evolve into a more slice of life angle away from his WoL version, and I am very okay with that.
